New members of Strategic Litigation Programme’s Programme Board
We are pleased to announce that the following persons have become new members of the Programme Board of the Strategic Litigation Programme: advocate Dr Marcin Ciemiński, legal counsellor Piotr Golędzinowski, Professor Robert Grzeszczak Ph.D. and Professor Łukasz Pisarczyk Ph.D.
The team of the Programme Board of the Strategic Litigation Programme comprises of experts from various fields. The team is monitoring the ongoing activities of the Programme as well as takes decisions on whether to include a given case it its works. New members of the Board are:
Dr Marcin Ciemiński, an advocate, partner at Clifford Chance, an expert in the field of white-collar crime and medical law; for many years he has been working with the HFHR, providing pro bono legal aid in cases concerning, for example, prisoner transfers in the context of violations of the principle of humanitarian treatment of prisoners, and a case concerning a failure to confirm judicial appointments.
Piotr Golędzinowski, a legal counsellor at Wardyński i Wspólnicy, an expert in the field of court and arbitration proceedings concerning commercial relations.
Professor Robert Grzeszczak Ph.D., Professor at the Department of European Law of the University of Warsaw, member of the Committee for Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences appointed for the period 2015–2018, member of the Polish Society for European Law, Polish Group of the International Law Association, member of programme boards, editorial and review boards of numerous scientific journals.
Professor Łukasz Pisarczyk Ph.D., legal counsellor, Professor at the Department of Labour Law and Social Policy at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw, head of the Studies of Labour Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw, Secretary General of the Polish Section of the International Association of Labour Law and Social Security, member of the Editorial Board of the Labor Law Journal, an of counsel at Raczkowski Paruch sp.k.
